2nd August 2008 Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 13 then 20 Surf / Sea State: fairly smooth Air Temperature: 20 Sea Temperature: 17 Weather: sunny Max Speed: 25.7 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 54.1 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) What a fantastic day. Started with 7m on 135 for about 45 minutes. It was too big but I persevered and hit 25.7knots. I guessed wind would continue to increase so changed to 6m on smaller board. It was perfect 6m bump n jump blasting back and forth into the Menai Straits. Sailed on the water for about 3 and half hours and covered 54.1nm. Fantastic day. |
